What it is
Fishing in the fresh-water canals (not the sea), with snook and tarpon as the main catch. Options run from two hours up to a half or full day. It’s run by local fishing experts who know where the fish are, and we arrange the whole thing for you. Boat, rods, and bait included; bring a hat and water.
Best for
Anglers chasing tarpon — Tortuguero is one of Costa Rica’s prime spots. Shorter outings suit travelers new to the sport.
