Booking & cancellation policy.
This is our current policy. If anything is unclear, message us
before booking and we'll walk you through it.
How to make a reservation valid.
To be valid, every reservation must be made in writing and
must be confirmed in writing by Mawamba Lodge.
Cancellations — individual travelers (FIT).
Days counted before the guest's arrival date. Cancellation
charges are a percentage of the services booked.
- 15 to 8 days before arrival: 50% of services
- 7 to 3 days before arrival: 75% of services
- 2 days or less before arrival: 100% of services
- No-shows: 100% of services
Cancellations — groups.
Days counted before the group's arrival date.
- 60 to 46 days before arrival: 25% of services
- 45 to 31 days before arrival: 50% of services
- 30 to 16 days before arrival: 75% of services
- 15 days or less before arrival: 100% of services
Peak-season policy.
Applies to any reservation with travel dates between
December 20 and January 10, or during
Semana Santa (Holy Week).
Reservations must be paid / confirmed 60 days
before arrival. The following FIT cancellation terms apply:
- 60 to 45 days before arrival: 50% of services
- 44 to 31 days before arrival: 75% of services
- 30 days or less before arrival: 100% of services
Groups — specific conditions.

Specific conditions for each group are sent in writing
at the time of confirmation.

Group rates are package-based and depend on the lodge
entry date (whether it falls in high or low season).
All package prices are per person + taxes.
