The Superior
This is the category where we start really stretching out. The Superior is for couples only — bigger room, larger bathroom, more privacy, and a generous sitting area to enjoy together. Lush garden views with partial views of the Tortuguero canals.
There are four Superior rooms in total, and they come in two different design styles. Either style delivers the same level of comfort — the difference is purely aesthetic. We’ll happily walk you through the available options at booking.
Surrounded by the rainforest
Like the rest of the lodge, the Superiors keep the screened-wall design that lets the sounds of the rainforest and canals flow through the room — softly, in this category, because you’re set back further from the public areas. Wake up to birdsong, not a hallway.
Inside, you’ll find a welcome tray with natural insect repellent and water waiting for you — small touches that go a long way after a day in the canals.
